Cancer survivor Olga Phetlho from Bloemfontein never thought she would have cancer, never mind participating in a pageant. She proudly shares her story this #Pinktober.
The first-ever Miss Cancer Survivor from Bloemfontein has fought and won her battle against cancer. She joins Mid-Morning Magic's Yolanda Maartens to share her cancer journey.
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the pageant could not have come at a better time as people across the country are standing with the many who have fought the battle against cancer.
This passion project run by Chief Leeuw (Executive Director of Miss SA Plus World), is important to him because his daughter Sibongile is a leukemia survivor herself. Leeuw says the highlight of planning this pageant is the commitment and the excitement of the finalists.
