The ITEC Knights will look to continue with their momentum when they face the Dolphins in Potchefstroom on Friday evening in the CSA T20 Challenge.

While both teams are in the top three on the log, tonight’s game could be make-or-break for either side as they do start approaching the business end of the competition.

The Knights have managed to beat Western Province and the Paarl Rocks, while due to inclement weather they had to share points in the matches against the Warriors and Lions. In both of these matches the Knights were also in a good position to win.

The Knights remain the only unbeaten team in the competition, while following the slow start the Dolphins have hit their stride.

The Knights captain, Aubrey Swanepoel, told OFM Sport that they are geared for the challenge.

“Friday night is another really big one and the guys in the camp should really be looking forward to it, said Swanepoel.

“The energy of the guys is quite high and the self-belief is quite good. Come Friday night, I'm hoping that we can fire again.

“In our team it could be anybody’s night again, but the most important thing is that we must go out there and just enjoy it.

“We just want to entertain the people and play that type of cricket - hopefully we can do it again and come home with another win. The boys are really just looking forward to Friday night’s game.”

Friday night’s game at the JB Marks Oval gets underway at 18:00.
