NW Cricket appoint Prinsloo as new CEO─── 13:46 Mon, 29 Oct 2018
North West Cricket have the pleasure to congratulate HP Prinsloo as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of North West Cricket. His contract commences on 1 November 2018.
Prinsloo was born in Odendaalsrus, Free State. After he matriculated at Wessel Maree High School, Odendaalsrus, he studied at the Potchefstroom University for Higher Education (NWU). His highest qualification is Chartered Accountant (South Africa) / CA (SA) and he has been in public practice since 1996.
The game of cricket has always been a part of his life and he has been a representative on various levels throughout his career.
• He played cricket for Pukke CC (1987 – 1995) and Potch Dorp CC (from 1995 – 1996)
• He was captain of NW Cricket Team (old Western Transvaal) (from 1988 – 1996)
• He served as Board member for NW Cricket and Lions Cricket Franchise
• He is Chairman of Potch Dorp CC
“I have been involved with NWC on various levels since 2005 and also served on the Board,” he commented. “It is a great honour to serve North West Cricket and to give back to the game of cricket that gave me so much in my life. I believe that I have both the cricket and professional skills and knowledge to make a success of this exciting challenge.
“I am looking forward to serve cricket in the North West Province, to be part of the team to set really high goals and standards for every aspect of the cricket pipeline and to grow the raw talent to its full potential, both on and off the field.
I would also like to thank the Board of NWC for entrusting me with the responsibility as CEO of NWC.”
