Water reservoirs at JB Marks to be filled at night─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 12:56 Fri, 28 Jul 2023
Water interruptions have continued at JB Marks Municipality in North West as a result of repairs of a 600 mm diameter bulk line around Ditlokwe on Thursday.
Promosa, Ikageng Proper, Mohadin, and all other extensions were affected by the planned water interruption. Municipal spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite, said the process of repairs went as planned, and pumping of water back into the reservoirs is anticipated to resume tonight at 23:00 due to some technical difficulties that the contractor encountered during the operation.
Water tankers have been dispatched to supply water in Zakhele and at all extensions, clinics, and schools in affected areas – Sonderwater, Serope, and Matlwang. Once enough water had been pumped into the reservoirs, the water supply would resume.

On Monday (34/7) the municipality also warned residents of Vereeniging there would be no water supply due to planned maintenance at the water canal.
