The Free State Premier is set to address issues of drug and substance abuse which continues to trouble the youth across communities in the province.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) citizens' forum, is today, Tuesday 29 November 2022, hosting this event at the Bloemfontein Lodge.

The event comes at the back of the gender-based violence campaign that was launched in Mantsopa on Sunday, where Premier Sisi Ntombela encouraged boys to take a stand against the scourge of violence against women and do away with substance abuse. Previously there were several marches to the offices of the Premier, Social Development and Department of Small Business Development and Tourism (Destea) amongst others, where residents raised issues of unsafe buildings which are harbouring criminals who sell drugs.
