The hotel has 90 stylishly furnished rooms all overlooking the picturesque Vaal River. The facilities at the hotel include a sparkling blue swimming pool, with a shallow kiddie's pool, where young and old can soak up the sun.  

More adventurous guests can indulge in the mountain bike trail around the golf course, with bicycles available to rent at the Country Club.  There is also a 5km walking trail, tennis courts and a squash court.  The Pitch & Putt also offers a fast paced, nine-hole meshy course.  

The hotel spa offers an extensive list of blissful treatments to pamper and spoil, while the magnificent 18 hole, par 73 golf course, situated adjacent to the hotel, provides an exciting challenge for discerning golfers.

The Matthews Restaurant and Terrace Café serves delectable meals with something for everyone and weekends in the Vaal is brimming with entertainment, as the visitors to the hotel are treated to live music on the terraces every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

On 4 December 2022, the entire community will come together to enjoy a festive Christmas Carols by Candlelight event next to the river, with Dr Isak Burger and Piet Smith. For the kids there will be Lente and Karoolus.
