Cold front expected in Central SA─── KATLEHO MORAPELA 10:40 Wed, 21 Jul 2021
Residents in Central South Africa should brace themselves, as the cold front that hit the Western Cape moves inland.
This, as the South African Weather Services confirms an intense cold front expected in the southern parts of the Northern Cape on Wednesday. The cold front is expected to then spread to the Free State, North West, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and Gauteng on Thursday.
The SA Weather Service’s Rejoyce Mohlamme earlier told OFM presenter, Gerben van Niekerk, they issued a yellow level 2 warning for localised flooding in the Western Cape, and that cold weather conditions can be expected in large parts of the country with snowfall for some provinces.
