Prinsloo emphasises the importance of events like the Bloem Show in the expansion of the Free State capital’s economy. The event and the business activities affiliated with it reportedly inject between R50 million and R60 million into the local economy. Expectations are high that 2023 will also be a stellar year for the event.
The fair made its much-anticipated return in 2022 following a two-year hiatus owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The agricultural, entertainment and trade event was met with much excitement when it reopened its doors.
