Bafana Bafana returned to winning ways last night when they beat neigbours Swaziland 3-1 in Mbabane.
It was Shakes Mashaba’s teams’ first match since being bundled out of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in January this year.
With numerous stars of the team out through injury and European club commitments, the coach fielded a whole host of debutants, including Bloemfontein Celtic defender Thapelo Morena.
Thabo Mnyamane has scored on debut as Bafana Bafana eased past Swazis 3-1 to retain their unbeaten run against the side from the land locked kingdom.
Mnyamane added to Thulani Hlatshwayo's opener after half-time, before Mandla Masango added the third to drive the final nail in their opponents’ coffin despite Felix Badenhorst pulling a goal back for the home side.
South Africa next face the Super Eagles of Nigeria at 15:30 on Sunday afternoon at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspuit.
