Mamphela Ramphele has much to learn on the political stage─── 08:57 Tue, 04 Feb 2014
Durban - Mamphela Ramphele's decision to back out of a deal with the DA shows that while she's a good business and academic leader - she has much to learn on the political stage.
Political analyst, Zakhele Ndlovu was commenting on the news that the AgangSA leader pulled out of a merger with the Democratic Alliance, just days after being announced as the party's presidential candidate.
Ndlovu says accepting the nomination without informing her members also shows political immaturity.
Ndlovu feels the move's tainted the reputations of both parties.
DA leader, Helen Zille expressed her unhappiness at the move, saying Ramphele's proposal to retain her position while being DA presidential candidate was nonsensical. - ECR
