Johannesburg - Author, activist and businesswoman Mamphela Ramphele announced the launch of a "political platform" in Johannesburg today. Speaking at the Women’s Gaol, Constitution Hill, Ramphele said she is working with a group of fellow citizens to form a party political platform that will focus on rekindling hope that building the our dream country is possible in our lifetime:
The initiative will go by the name Agang, meaning 'Build South Africa'. It is widely expected to lead to the formation of a political party.
