Bloemfontein - Wet weather conditions in central South Africa are expected to clear up in most parts of the Free State, North West and the Northern Cape by tomorrow.
The South African Weather Service in Bloemfontein’s, Michael Nethavhani, says low temperatures under 10 degrees are most likely to continue until tomorrow while warmer conditions are expected to set in by the end of the weekend.
Nethavhani says the cut-off low system currently moving through the central region is expected to move eastwards overnight with snowfalls expected over the Lesotho mountains and Van Reenen's Pass. According to him light snow is also expected to fall in the southern Free State towards the Eastern Cape.
Nethavhani says 4mm of light rain has been measured since last night in Bloemfontein while heavy rainfall is not expected for the rest of the day.
