15 injured in Vereeniging accident─── 05:42 Mon, 16 Mar 2015
Vereeniging - Fifteen people were injured in a crash on the R82 in De Deur, Vereeniging, on Saturday night, paramedics said on Sunday.
Netcare911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said that when paramedics arrived it appeared that a light delivery vehicle transporting people on the back had left the road, overturned and come to a standstill on its side in the grass.
They found that 15 people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
All the injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
