Bloemfontein's escaped prisoner still at large─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 08:12 Fri, 06 Mar 2015
Bloemfontein - Police in Bloemfontein are appealing to the public to come forward with information regarding the whereabouts of a prisoner who escaped from the local Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Police spokesperson, Chaka Marope says 35-year-old John Ntseki is still on the run.
He was about to be sentenced when he ran out of the court room and allegedly escaped through a window. Ntseki, who faced a charge of rape, was arrested in Batho in 2012.
Marope says he is regarded as dangerous and warns public members to be cautious when they spot him.
Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the escape.
