Bloemfontein - Bloemfontein police have confirmed about 60 disgruntled students at Motheo TVET College are burning tyres in St Georges Street in the Bloemfontein CBD this morning.
Spokesperson Chaka Marope says police are monitoring the situation. He says intersections at St Georges and Aliwal, as well as Church Street are affected.
It is not yet clear what the reason for the protest is. Marope is advising motorists to use alternate routes.
