Kimberley - Minister of higher education and training, Blade Nzimande, will inaugurate the first full council of the Sol Plaatje University in Kimberley tomorrow.
The term of the interim council, which was established on August 22 last year, comes to an end tomorrow.
In its first year, the university enrolled 125 students.
It said in a statement it expects more than double that amount of students when applications for next years’ intake closes at the end of September.
