NC police search for girl in Orange River─── LUCKY NKUYANE 11:00 Sun, 24 Jan 2021

The Northern Cape Police Search and Rescue Team on Saturday embarked on a search for an 18-year-old girl suspected to have drowned in the Orange River near Orania.
Police spokesperson, Olebogeng Tawana, says it is alleged that the 18-year-old girl and her friends were riding on tubes in the river when one of the tubes overturned on Thursday.
He says the South African Police Service's (SAPS) search and rescue team and other external roleplayers were deployed to search for the girl. The police are yet to provide an update on the search.
However, on Saturday evening in a statement, Tawana had said that the police were busy at work to search for the missing girl.
