Kopanong Municipality tackles #Jagersfontein #WaterCrisis hands-on─── OLEBOGENG MOTSE 07:17 Tue, 24 Jul 2018
The Kopanong Local Municipality announced it will be installing section valves in Jagersfontein in the Free State to ensure that water supply reaches all residents, especially those in uphill areas.
Municipal spokesperson, Solomzi Phama, told OFM News the town will be without water for 24 hours, starting at 18:00 on Monday. He says the municipality wants to ensure that all the areas in Jagersfontein receive an adequate supply of water. OFM News' Olebogeng Motse reports that the town, however, is not only facing problems pertaining to water infrastructure, there is also the issue of water interruptions imposed by Bloem Water since last year for non-payment.
