World’s Coolest Marathon.
Dr. Leonie Stander and Dr. Sonja Viljoen, both medical docters in Kroonstad, successfully completed the North Pole Marathon and joined the Grand Slam club having completed a marathon on all 7 continents.
They finished in a joint eighth place with a time of 7 hours, 32 minutes and 28 seconds. What a story!
