The new Toyota Cheetahs winger Munier Hartzenberg is excited at the prospect of making his debut for the team on Friday in the Toyota Challenge.
Hartzenberg who scored a try for the Griquas in the Currie Cup final against the Pumas has been at the Cheetahs for a few months now and he is set to play against the Bulls on Friday.
Hartzenberg’s younger brother, Suleiman, made his Stormers debut on the weekend in the URC game against Connacht in Stellenbosch.
The former Maties flyer told OFM Sport that he is excited to take to the field for his new team.
“My time here has been amazing and the transition has gone well. The guys at the Cheetahs have been very welcoming and they have made it easy for me to fit in.
“I can't want to get out there and represent the new union.
“The Cheetahs stands for a lot and to be a part of this history is just really amazing and a privilege of course.”
The Cheetahs coach, Hawies Fourie, will be naming his team for the match against the Bulls on Thursday morning.
The Cheetahs tackle the Bulls at 16:15 on Friday afternoon at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
