The Junior Springboks have made six changes for this evening’s Junior World Championships semi-final against England in France.
David Coetzer, Phendulani Buthelezi, Tiaan van der Merwe and Alulutho Tshakweni will all earn their first starts of the tournament in this crunch match.
Another change to the team is at inside centre where the former Grey captain Rikus Pretorius returns from injury
The coach Chean Roux says despite injuries he has picked a good side.
“There was an injury and another recovering from injury, while we also opted to bring on fresh leg.
“We think this is a very good side, and we are looking forward to the game.”
“England are a very physical and well-coached side. Their set pieces are very good and they have two brilliant wingers, so we need to counter that.”
This evening’s semi-final between the BabyBoks and England kicks off at 19:00.
