The North West University Pukke are just one win away from securing a Varsity Cup home semi-final when they face Wits in Johannesburg during round 8 of the competition on Monday.
Pukke, who sit in 2nd on the points table will need to beat the 3rd placed Wits who much like the North West side will be chasing a win to keep their home semi-final hopes alive.
Pukke will be carrying confidence to Johannesburg after last week’s victory over the University of the Free State Shimlas and look to maintain form when they meet Wits at the Wits Rugby Stadium for an 18:30 kick-off.
In the evening's other fixtures, the Central University of Technology Ixias welcomes the University of Cape Town Ikeys to Bloemfontein at 16:45 while the Shimlas will face the Nelson Mandela University Madibaz at 18:30 in the comfort of home.
The defending champions, University of Pretoria Tuks, look to restore the home crowd faith when they host the University of Johannesburg in Pretoria.
