The Toyota Cheetahs have named their side to tackle the Southern Kings, in what will be both teams' very last Super Rugby game.
Fred Zeilinga starts at flyhalf, while William Small-Smith replaces the injured Sergeal Petersen on the right wing.
Carl Wegner returns from his injury and slots at lock, with Armandt Koster moving to the bench.
Niell Jordan, Uzair Cassiem and Oupa Mohoje start in the loose trio, with Chris Dry on the bench.
Henco Venter is serving a one-match suspension.
This is the last time Franco Smith will be coaching the team and the captain, Francois Venter, told OFM Sport that it was an honour to play under the Springbok assistant.
Friday evening’s match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium kicks off at 19:00.
