Shark victim's brother asks for more shark nets─── 09:50 Tue, 18 Jan 2011

Port St Johns - The brother of a teenage surfer killed by a shark at a Port St Johns beach at the weekend has called on the government to put up shark nets. Avuyile Ndamase, older brother of Zama Ndamase says the only answer is to put up shark nets. He says the sharks know this place now - that is why they keep coming back. Ndamase, who was a provincial surfer for Border, was attacked by a shark at Second Beach in Port St Johns in the Eastern Cape on Saturday. He bled to death in the water.
This was the fifth shark attack at that beach in the past three years.
