Part of activities lined up for September, which is Heritage Month, is place name changes.
Kokstad and Grahamstown will be renamed after struggle heroes.
A colourful event, marking the launch of Heritage Month, was held in Howick on Saturday.
This year’s celebration is held under the theme “The Year of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, Advancing Transformation of South Africa’s Heritage Landscape.”
This also calls for South Africans to emulate the struggle stalwart.
