Durban - The Moerane Commission of Inquiry into violence at KwaZulu-Natal's Glebelands hostel, and residents' supposed involvement in political contract killings, has adjourned for about a month after a week of public hearings.
This as evidence leader Advocate Bhekhi Manyathi told reporters a witness who'd been due to testify yesterday withdrew at the last minute.
The witness, who requested to remain anonymous for fear of his life, had been expected to testify in camera - but had a change of heart.

More than 80 people have been killed - with some of the murders thought to have been politically motivated.
