SASFU could again face deregistration─── CATHY DLODLO 09:36 Sat, 12 Mar 2016
The South African Security Forces Union (SASFU) could again face deregistration as a union operating in the Defence Force because of internal problems.
The union was deregistered in 2010 by the Registrar of Trade Unions after it failed to provide financial statements and other documents they were required to submit.
SASFU National Convener, Puseletso Molise, told OFM News that the union – with a membership of more than 600 – is experiencing internal problems that led to a criminal case being opened against some members of its core leadership.
