Luke Tibbetts laid to rest─── 08:17 Sun, 17 Aug 2014
Johannesburg - Family and friends said their last goodbyes to three-year-old Luke Tibbetts at a funeral service in Longdale yesterday.
Tibbetts was shot in the head by a stray bullet while sitting on his mother's lap at the back of a vehicle in Westbury, two weeks ago, in a suspected gang-related incident.
Two suspects, Lindray Khaku and Keenan Mokwena, have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Khaku is facing two counts of attempted murder.
Mokwena has only been charged with pointing a firearm.
Last week Tibbetts's family were by his side when he passed away after being on life support for six days.
The incident comes a month after the death of four-year-old Taegrin Morris who was killed in a hijacking in Boksburg after he was dragged behind his parents’ car.
