Surfing SA shocked at shark attack─── 15:31 Fri, 11 Oct 2013
Jeffreys Bay - Surfing SA's vice-president, Johnny Bakker, says they are deeply shocked at this morning's fatal shark attack.
A man, who has not been named yet, was snorkelling at Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape when he was attacked around 11:30.
Bakker says the attack follows a week after the national junior surfing championships were held at the same spot.
