Free State MEC and Bloem Water CEO in court─── CATHY DLODLO 11:17 Fri, 16 Feb 2018
Proceedings in Court 20 in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court is about to start during which Free State Arts and Culture MEC, Mathabo Leeto, is expected to appear.
She and co-accused Limakatso Moroosi, CEO of Bloem Water, appeared briefly earlier this morning.
Both are facing charges in connection with the Matjhabeng corruption and money laundering case in which Leeto was previously charged with Free State MEC, Benny Malakoane.
Charges were then withdrawn after she made a presentation to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). Indications are that those charges are now going to be reinstated.
Moroosi, who was the CFO at the Matjhabeng Municipality during the same time, these charges originate from a total new addition to the list of accused.
