FS Road and Transport HOD dies─── OLEBOGENG MOTSE 12:07 Thu, 28 Dec 2017
Free State Head of Department (HOD) of Police, Roads and Transport, Sandile Msibi, has died following an illness.
According to Free State Premier Ace Magashule’s spokesperson, Tiisetso Makhele, details are sketchy at present, but he can confirm that Msibi died at around 05:00 this morning. Makhele says MEC of Police, Roads, and Transport, Sam Mashinini, along with Magashule, will make their way to Msibi’s home to meet with the family. Thereafter a detailed statement will be issued, says Makhele.
He says that the Free State provincial government is shocked and saddened at the news of Msibi’s death.
In a short statement, the Director General of the Free State Provincial Government, Kopung Ralikontsane, extended his heartfelt condolences to Msibi's beloved wife, children, bereaved family members, colleagues and friends.
Msibi was 55 years of age.
