Bloemfontein - The trial of a former Bloemfontein gun store owner Peter Frederiksen is expected to start in the Bloemfontein High Court today.
The matter was placed on the court roll until September 1, after it had to be postponed several times due to Frederiksen’s problems with attorneys.
Frederiksen faces 59 charges, including assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, possession of unregistered medicine and unlicensed firearms, distribution and possession of child pornography, conspiracy to murder, and bigamy.
He was arrested in September 2015 after female genital parts were found in the freezer of his home.
