Bloemfontein - The Student Representative Council (SRC) at the University of the Free State wants an independent transformation commission to be established to tackle racism and discrimination on campus.
This was one of the demands on the list of directives that was handed over to the Council of the University last Thursday.
Outgoing SRC president, Lindokuhle Ntuli says the commission should be established by September 15. He says they have also requested the university to review their employment policy.
Ntuli says they will meet with the council on Friday to discuss the list of directives.
