Ventersdorp - Three people have been killed and two injured after a vehicle rolled on the N14 at Ventersdorp, North West.
Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle was heading to Mahikeng from Krugersdorp.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found the driver of the vehicle in a stable condition.
Netcare911 paramedics stabilised the man on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The Provincial EMS had already transported a woman and a teenage boy to a nearby hospital for further medical care, they were both in a serious condition.
Sadly, the boy succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
He was declared dead by a doctor at the Ventersdorp Provincial Hospital.
The two deceased were ejected from the vehicle on impact.
The two – a man and a woman – were declared dead on scene by the Provincial EMS.
This incident happened this morning at about 09:00.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
