FS Social Development Dept celebrates Disability Awareness month─── THANDI XABA 11:19 Fri, 28 Nov 2014
Bloemfontein - In celebration of Disability Awareness Month, the Free State government has created an information sharing platform to assist entrepreneurs with disabilities.
MEC for Social Development Sisi Ntombela is expected to address more than 200 delegates in Bethlehem today, and says disabled people can work and have suitable jobs if given a chance.
The dialogues will be hosted in partnership with the Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA), Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) as well as the Free State Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Forum.
Last year during Disability Awareness Month the Department of Social Development committed to fund the forum with R100 000 to implement their plan.
