Bloemfontein - Democratic Alliance leader, Mmusi Maimane, attended the It’s Time Prayer Gathering at the Wilde Als Farm in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
An estimated one million people came together to pray for a number of issues including a shift in the political uncertainty in South Africa.
Maimane told OFM News South Africans from all walks of life need to come together in order to build a better country.
“It was a really special day. It’s a very historic moment in our nation and I think together, South Africans from all different denominations etc. [If] they can stand together and pray then I’m sure God will do great things in our nation.”
Evangelist preacher, Angus Buchan, said political leaders need to listen to God during his sermon.
He said South Africa needs a Christian government and he still awaits a day when Parliament opens with a prayer.
