Wondering what to do or gift on #ValentinesDay? Not to worry - Nastacia Cornelius has you covered and came up with some ideas of what to do or gift...

Valentine’s Day only comes around once a year and is the perfect excuse to spoil yourself, your special someone, a friend, or a member of your family.

Labour of love

“Good food is a labour of love. It is my way of showing people how much I love them,” says Seisoen restaurant owner, Maradine Whitehorn.

“Sunday and Monday you and your partner can sit down for a special five-course fine-dining experience at Seisoen. On Sunday, we’re going to serve classic Sunday meal favourites that will bring back good memories of your childhood,” says Whitehorn. She says tickets are selling like hot cake.

Speed-dating bringing people together

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with “Sip&Paint” by Koolest Sundays. Koolest Sundays are known for bringing people together and encouraging them to embrace their creative side, fashion, and culture. It promises an evening of live performances, poetry, painting and - for Valentine's Day - we have speed dating! This will take place on the 13th of February at The Royal Roastery in Langenhovenpark.

“Look forward to meeting new people from all walks of life. It’s a dope atmosphere and everyone always gels together so freely,” says curator of Koolest Sundays, Lwando Mhobo.

Wine your Valentine!

Ever heard the saying “Love, like wine, gets better with time?”

The winelands are one of South Africa’s most treasured attractions and this Valentine’s Day Inibos is bringing you the Stellenbosch wine experience, right here in Bloemfontein. Parents can even bring their children along. Activities such as a grape stomping competition will keep them busy. Date: 13th of February from 9am at Inibos in Langenhovenpark. Make your booking in time.

“It is an intimate wine experience where we present the details of our grape variety, the flavours, and origin,” says manager of Inibos, Theo Oldjohn.
