Big hitting Snyman happy to continue at the Knights─── MORGAN PIEK 07:54 Thu, 06 Apr 2023
The Proteas batter, Jacques Snyman, looks forward to continuing his career in Bloemfontein with the ITEC Knights.
Snyman is just one of six senior players to remain at the union after their relegation from Division 2 of domestic cricket.
The destructive batters experience will be valuable as the team seeks to rebuild and also fight for a return to Division 1.
The 28-year-old Snyman told OFM Sport that he looks forward to the upcoming season.
“It's lovely to be able to stay on at the Knights,” said the big-hitting all-rounder.
“It's a honour to stay on at the union and I really like playing for and representing the Knights.
“I'm sure this will be a great season for the union. We've some a couple of new guys with some of them already having experienced playing at this level and a lot of them are exciting youngsters.
“We are all looking forward to the season and our big objective is to get back into the first division.”
Snyman arrived in England on Tuesday where he plays for the Greenmount Cricket Club.
