The Department of Employment and Labour hosted a Careers Fair event - aimed at creating opportunities for job seekers - in Bloemfontein from 24 to 25 October 2024.

The Careers Fair, an initiative led by the Department’s Public Employment Services branch, sought to create opportunities for job seekers and provide a platform to interact with prospective employers.
Job seekers were offered, among other services, an opportunity to register their CVs on the Employment System of South Africa (ESSA) database, through which they could be matched with potential recruiters. Additional services provided included processing of Unemployment Insurance claims and Inspection and Enforcement Services.
