A corruption case against two Klerksdorp based traffic officers, Tsie Masigo and Dintle Nkoe is set for regional court, the two are facing corruption charges after being arrested by the Hawks for soliciting bribe.

National Prosecuting Authoring North West spokesperson Henry Mamothame was unable to confirm outcomes by then as the docket was not found at the time.
‘Corruption case against Klerksdorp traffic officers set for regional court’
The pair are out on R3000 bail each, Mamothame told OFM News that the case has been postponed to 08 January 2024 for regional court decision on the matter.
Previously North West Hawks spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Tinyiko Mathebula, said the two arrested a motorist for drunk and driving offence.
Money was demanded from the motorist, and R1000 was paid, however another payment was arranged, leading to the motorist informing the Hawks.

According to Mathebula, the two were arrested after being paid cash by the motorist.
