Thabo Bester beefed up his legal team with three more experienced defence attorneys.
The convicted Facebook rapist and murderer Thabo Bester has beefed up his legal team.
The Mangaung Prison escapee confirmed to Acting Chief Magistrate Estelle de Lange he beefed up his legal team with three more experienced defence attorneys, including Adv. Dali Mpofu (SC) and Adv. Zandile Mshololo. Bester told De Lange he would still keep defence lawyers Kabelo Matee and Jan Loubser as his instructing attorneys to Mpofu and Mshololo. Meanwhile, the security was also beefed up.
Bester is appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court with his co-accused on Wednesday (11/10). Nandipha Magudumana, his girlfriend and alleged mastermind behind Bester's prison escape, was missing from court due to ill health.
Prosecutor Amanda Bester informed De Lange the state is dropping charges against accused 7 Nastassja Jansen, accused 10 Thabang Meir, and accused 12 Thabang Ramolula.
