An investigative team found him at a house on Zomba Street, Welkom.
The son of Free State Health MEC, Mathabo Leeto, was returned home safely.
Lehana Junior Leeto (16) was reported missing on Monday (11/9) by his father, Lahana Leeto, who resides in Jim Fouche Park, Welkom. He last saw his son on Friday (8/9) at about 20:00. The police registered a missing person’s file and initiated a search as he could not be found at places he used to visit.
Free State police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng, said the 16-year-old was found by an investigative team led by Lieutenant Colonel Bizzah Ntsiane at a house in Zomba Street in Welkom on (12/9) at about 23:00. He had no injuries and was handed to his parents.
