With a rapidly growing population and limited access to traditional healthcare services, many African countries are turning to digital solutions to improve health outcomes.
At Lunch's Pulane Nel-Sekepe spoke to Professor Leenta Grobler, the MBA Programme Manager and Associate Professor in Digitalisation and Digital Economies at the NWU Business School, about the potential of digital health and medical devices to transform healthcare in Africa.

Grobler is also the team leader of the NWU’s Digital Health research group, herself and her team has developed the TjopTjop health screening app, a remote ventilator monitoring solution, and a digital baby measuring scale.
