Breaking News: Free State Premier’s official residence on fire – VIDEO─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 11:18 Thu, 23 Mar 2023
The Office of the Free State Premier has confirmed that its official residence is on fire.
The spokesperson of the premier Sello Dithebe said it is at this stage unclear how the fire started. The matter will be investigated.
The Mangaung Metro Municipality’s Fire and Rescue team are currently on the scene to put out the fire. The spokesperson of Fire and Rescue, Braam van Zyl, said he will be able to give an update once the fire has been put out.

The South African Police Services (SAPS) are also on the scene to collect details.
OFM News' Morgan Piek earlier reported about the fire when there were no authorities on the scene yet, where several concerned members of the public and security companies have parked.
