Another North West school bus catches #fire─── 09:30 Sun, 04 Sep 2022
A bus transporting learners from Tumisang Primary School in Letsopa near Ottosdal in North West, caught fire just outside Stilfontein.
The bus transported learners and teachers to Potchefstroom yesterday to participate in sports activities.
The provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Adele Myburgh, confirmed the incident to OFM News.

Myburgh said according to information, the incident is said to have been caused by a mechanical failure. She also added that no injuries were reported.
OFM News was reliably informed that learners and educators managed to escape in time before the fire engulfed the bus.

Myburgh says police and emergency personnel were on the scene. However, she indicated that no case was opened.
