EFF's 9th anniversary celebrations successful─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 07:05 Sun, 31 Jul 2022
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) hosted a successful 9th anniversary celebration at the Dr Petrus Molemela stadium in Bloemfontein in the Free State.
Joined by leaders of some opposition parties at the celebration, EFF supporters came out in numbers and were addressed by party officials, including the EFF commander-in-chief and president, Julius Malema.

While addressing masses of EFF supporters gathered at the stadium, Malema thanked the provincial chairperson of the party, Mandisa Makesini, and the collective leadership of the EFF in ensuring the 9th anniversary of the party was a memorable one.
Meanwhile, the United Democratic Movement's (UDM) president, Bantu Holomisa, said that since the launch of the party nine years ago in Marikana, the EFF is no longer called 'new kids on the block'. This whilst the president of the African Transformation Movement (ATM), Vuyolwethu Zungula, called for unity in dealing with issues faced by the poor and marginalised.
