Water supply in certain parts of Welkom are expected to be restored, following a valve leak.
According to the Matjhabeng Local Municipality, the interruption was due to a valve leak that caused a huge pothole which affected traffic at Stateway and Bok Street in Welkom.
According to the municipality's spokesperson, Kgojane Matutle, the water crisis was addressed last night and water should be restored soon.
