The Springboks have sent their condolences to the former winger, Breyton Paulse, following a family tragedy over the weekend.
On Sunday, Paulse’ mother Setta Visagie and aunt Marie Gelant drowned after being washed off the Old Harbour wall by waves in Hermanus.
Springboks assistant coach, Deon Davis, wished Paulse and his family the best in this difficult time.
Paulse played for the Springboks and Stormers in his day and of late he has been a rugby commentator and pundit. Paulse earned 64 caps for the Springboks and scored 26 tries.
The Springboks face Wales in Bloemfontein on Saturday in the second Test.
