The Free State government is pleading for national intervention regarding the notorious R30 road in the Free State which has seen a number major accidents recently.
The plea comes after yesterday's official visit to the R30 road between Allanridge and Bothaville road, a road which claimed close to thirty lives since early this year.

In her statement, Ntombela said that the provincial government will be meeting with national government to request assistance in building a bridge on the notorious #R30 roads.
According to Ntombela, motorists have been removing road signs and other materials used to close the road in order to pass through it, avoiding to use alternative routes.
