Duo arrested in Free State for dealing in drugs─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 09:08 Sat, 28 May 2022
The Free State police, together with the Illicit Mining Knockout team, has successfully arrested two suspects for dealing in drugs.
Police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng, explained the police found the two, a male and a female aged 50 and 59, with different types of drugs.
They were arrested at a house in Stilte Park, Meloding, Virginia after the house was searched.
The two suspects will appear in the Virginia Magistrate's Court on 30 May.
The following drugs were seized:
- 72 full tablets of Star Mandrax
- 49 halves pills of Star Mandrax
- 19 quarter pills of Star Mandrax
- Five medium packets of Chrystal Meth
- Eight small packets of Chrystal Meth
- R3 870
The Provincial Commissioner, Baile Motswenyane praised the joint teamwork for their swift reaction in arresting the suspects with drugs.
